The best

This app has made a world of difference in live shows as well as practice and studio work.

Great App

This is a great app that is very user friendly. Changing keys is a breeze. Editing words or chords can be done on the fly. The only suggestion I had was to be able to color code lines that are harmony singing, which I was told will be on a future update. And the support is totally awesome. You wont regret this app!

OnSong

One of the best apps I have purchased. I am a professional musician, and this opened up a whole new world of lead sheets for me. God bless the creator of this app. !

Wish

I love the OnSong app. Im a member of my church worship team. We use it every song service. I dont know what we did without it before. I wish we were able to use different music apps to practice along with.

On song is the best

Dont know of any better app as this one. Im a solo singer and using the tracks. No more embarrassing thick books with lyrics or flipping pages trying to find the right song. It had never failed me on my gigs. I backed up all my music and when my I pod crashed I simply downloaded it again. Thanks On Song, glad I found you.

Awesome Program

Great program...easy to use...worth the price. I use OnSong in concert settings with my iPad Pro. I can create a set list for each type of program I present. Since I have to have words to songs in front of me, OnSong gives me the capability of having the words and tracks instantly. Also, I use the AirTurn Duo Foot Pedal to advance each song and scroll down the page if words dont fit on one page. Awesome program enables me to get rid of cumbersome notebooks with words. Easy to change songs in set list on the fly. Again...well worth the price1

Big Bang for the buck!

Incredible amount of features & functionality for the price. I would have paid much more & still considered it a bargain! Ive never been so organized!

Could live without it!

I use this at least once a week and sometimes more when Im out jamming with friends or playing in church. This doesnt just show chords and lyrics from a limited source, but lets you write your own stuff and the project that on a wall to sing! So many features it makes other apps look boring.

Love it!!

Still learning to use it, but have already seen the benefits! Love the fact that I can beam a set to another musician. Hardest thing is to get all my songs entered, but Im getting it done. The console is a life-saver for that. Next purchase is a foot pedal.

Awesome App

Our praise band has been using this app for almost 2 years. Its a great tool to put sets together with and to use as a prompter while performing. Having the ability to transpose is great for the keyboards when guitars use capos. The notation feature is a great way to and a note or highlight chords/lyrics for arrangements and etc. while we do not use the foot pedals, the auto scroll is handy to activate so you dont have to navigate through pages while playing. We have had some issues beaming set lists to iPads on stage so each iPad has to set up their own set list. To me, this is much more efficient way on having music to play from instead of using printed charts.

Cant do a gig without it

OnSong has become my #1 music app since I started to use it about 6 months ago. I store all my music in ChordPro format making OnSong perfect. I can transpose keys on the fly, mark up my music by "writing" on the screen, and the set feature is perfect for organizing a set; no messing around getting looking for next song. I also have the Console feature allowing to manage and edit my songs from my home computer rather than using the iPad. If you have tons of music files, play with multiple groups and people, or do a lot of open mics, this could be perfect for you.

No more pencils, no more books.

The days of carrying binders of sheets are over. I have enough on my pad that I could do any gig, no matter the demographic. The ability to print set lists or individual songs is fantastic. Transposing on the fly is great when other players and singers play different keys. Air dropping to other players is also convenient. Scrolling and dark backlight feature make for good on stage control. Just a great app with constant updates.

Amazing Response!

With all of the different apps that I use, I continue to be amazed at the responsiveness of OnSong. They are more concerned about the musicians using the app stead of reaching another release status and it shows. Even when the most recent update is primarily bug fixes, there are hidden gems inside to continue to make it my go-to! Love Love Love the new Multiselect feature!!! Support is responsive and so helpful! I really have nothing bad I could say.

Bug with OnSongSelect

Shows up in my battery statistics as running in the background for 5 hours. I did not play any music or do anything but lookup a song. Please fix the background battery drain. In the meantime I have had to turn off background refresh and also to never run in the background in the OnSong settings of the app

Worth every penny

I have used onsong now for at least five years. They are consistently updating the app with new useful updates and the user interface is so easy to use. I use it every weekend in worship and it never fails me.

OnSong is our favorite gig gear!

We dont carry around huge, overstuffed, and ridiculously heavy binders to our gigs anymore. Our paper fake books are no longer needed, thanks to OnSong on our iPads! We have access to all our song charts, we can adjust keys on the fly, and import new songs instantly using Dropbox. We cant imagine doing a gig now without using OnSong. Totally worth it!!!

Good App, but..

Ive giving it 3 stars because of the Micro Transaction type things. First off, I love the App. It makes things so much easier than having paper music in front of you, especiall when used in compination with the PADs you can buy. I take issue with having to pay to "unlock" some of the Apps capabilities. One such thing is the use of the Console option. This allows you to basically ssh into your Ipad to edit songs instead of using Dropbox or the editor. Its another $10 to unlock. You pay $20 for the full app, but still have to pay to unlock other features that I think should already be unlocked. They went the route of EA here and thats how they get you. Its all about the money. Other than that, great app.

Awesome app with 1 glaring problem

This app is great. Awesome features and easy to use interface. But.... since I first started using it on my associate pastors iPad 1, it has had 1 issue that was a mild annoyance at first but now after so long, irritates me to ferocity. When you are using remote the first search goes fine. With the second however the keyboard closes in the middle of your search. It may seem petty, but after this long and so many updates this is something that should have been fixed. Hence 4*

OnSong

I recently purchased Onsong for $19.99 plus tax. It promised to be a musicians dream for gigs, but it is more like a nightmare. Dont try to send OnSong an email when your dream app doesnt work properly, because the OnSong web page does not allow you to contact them directly. Once you give this Korean Company your money... youre only access is their poorly designed web page and videos. Im tired of contacting iTunes everytime they sell another companies rip-off app to use on my Apple computer. I doubt if theyll print this truthful review; its obvious that their company minions have posted so many wonderful reviews to con real musicians into buying their junk! Perhaps, I need to re-think about future purchases involving Apple, Itune and the products they support in the future.

Simply "The Best"

Best chord management app on any platform period. OnSong is the reason I purchased an iPad many years ago. If you dont own an iPad, go and buy one so you can get this app. I now have it wirelessly control my Beatbuddy too. Thank You OnSong!!!!!
