Not intuitive

This is a great app but has light years to go on user experience

Thank you OnSong

What a difference OnSong has made not just to my life as a worship leader but that of over 20 other great musicians in our church. Our sister church is the biggest in Liverpool, England and has church plants right across Europe. It was while playing over at our Athens church plant 2 years ago that I was told about OnSong. Up until then I used to carry hundreds of sheets of paper songs around with me which was always a nightmare. Your superb app has changed everything. I love it more than anything else that I have on my iPad. It has made me more relaxed while leading which helps me to focus more on God than shifting bits of paper around.

AWESOME !!

Im a french worship leader in France, and i use Onsong on iPad. Its just awesome! Its so practical and useful ! Thank you for your work, you blessed France !

Excellent application !

At first, i encounted some issues with the installation on a French iPad 1. But, very quickly, the support gave me the solution (thanks to Jaime). Then, i discovered an incredible application ! 5 stars !

Just perfect!

Took me a while to buy this app as theres no trial version and its expensive but its totally worth it. Im in the process of inputing 200+ song in there, its easy, fast and has tons of really useful things to make performing a pleasure. Really great app, thanks a lot. Wish you could swipe through songs in a same book though!

Changed my life, fantastic app, all my friend musician use it,

Justa awesome!

Use it on every gig!

great tool for the gigging musician!!!

OnSong is the best reason for any musician with a large repetoire to buy and use an iPad on stage. I use it together with the iRig BlueBoard (perfect control and integration with OnSong) in several different bands and gig situations. Now, with a bit of time and effort invested, I never have to worry about forgetting lyrics or changes - all of the needed information is always there running parallel with me, at my tempo! If the guitar player decides to take a longer solo, its no problem - I can pause the scrolling and restart it again at the push of a button, never taking my hands off the instrument. And the program even switches the synth sounds of SampleTank for my MIDI pedals automatically for each song - that is a very handy feature for gigs, where you need to be communicating with the audience between songs, not searching for patches. There are countless other possibilities which I have not yet explored, but already I can say that this app has revolutionized my gig preparation and on-stage "workflow"! And if you have a support issue, the OnSong team is very helpful and quick to respond. I recommend OnSong because it really works well for me.

Really good tool for musicians!

Onsong is a great tool for me as a bass player and backup vocalist with more than one band. I use both the lyrics and chords on the Ipad display, and on external HD monitors for the band, playbacks and extra instruments on the audio outs with lyrics on screens for a duo. The share function allows us to rehearse a song completely separate from each other, but on the same page for the gig. There are some bugs, but the guys at onsong work hard to fix them and have always given me a solution real fast. I dont know what Id do without Onsong. Worth every cent. db

great concept, highly bugged

this could be an amazing app but the designers are trying to do too much and so made it far too complicated with too many features. As an example its the only app i own that doesnt work with Apple TV.

Great app - a few things still to fix

I play in a couple of different bands, and use this app in both. Far more convenient than printing and bindering songs. App works great as a rule, but a few buggy things pop up here and there. For example, in the one band, everyone uses it and when we try to sync, we often lose the sync during a song. Also, the chords for certain songs just dont show up properly, even though they look to me identical to ones that do work. All in all, a great app to have, and if they ever get the rest of these bugs worked out, it will be truly awesome.

OnSong

I really like this program and am now trying to convince other members of the band to get the same app so it is easier to share charts and take advantage of the other features of the program. I do however find the Convert and subsequent editing weak. I was importing all my songs as PDFs but upon conversion found that the whole song would have to be re-edited. (if it would convert at all). I have now been importing songs in text and that seems a bit better. I hope in the future this problem is addressed. (before another app comes along and does it better)

As a new church plant...

As a new church plant with kids running around all over the place, we’re constantly trying to cut down the clutter of wires. Using OnSong with an Apple TV has allowed us to keep things simple (less wires, don’t need to round up someone to ‘run PowerPoint’, and gives the worship leader lots of control over the direction of our worship times. A great investment! Pairs awesome with a subscription to RWTC too.

Great

Great app! For all musicians and especial worship leaders

Best ever app for band performance

I played two gigs for St. Patricks Day. Beamed songs to band members and they transposed them instantly while on stage. I used OnSong with my iPad clipped to my mic stand and AirTurn BT-105 pedal board on the floor. I am now in the process of transferring all of my regular band songs to OnSong. Ill never go back to a binder and sheet music again

Real nice app

Just wanted to say... Good job creating this app. Its one I use a lot.
