If you play guitar get this app

This is the best app I have ever used. It is my go to app for guitar. If you play guitar download it and you will be amazed!

Fantastic

This app rocks. It has changed my life for the garage band Im in with 5 other buddies. I can finally toss the messy 3 ring binder bulging with tab sheets. Both practicing and gigging are so much easier. Yes its $20 but I get what u pay for. I also like supporting a new business. And the support is fantastic. Ive asked 3 questions and the company president responded promptly. Rock on Jason!

Fanstatic

If youre in a garage band with 5 buddies (as i am), then you must have this app! Throw away the messy binder! I actually take my iPad to my guitar lessons and update notes in the app. Life changing. Well worth the $20 bucks. And ive gotten fantastic support. Thanks Jason! Edward K

On and Off The Road

Just toured with OnSong... No bulky files! Now using it on the home stage, all the band members are getting iPADS. Dont have to worry about lighting, piano player keeps both hands on keys, 700 songs loaded. This is a blessing. Wrote a couple songs on the fly, pulling in a few verses from the scriptures while camping in the trees. Wow.

One of my favorite apps!!

OnSong is an amazing app and it keeps getting better. Customer support is fantastic. This is one of the reasons I actually got an iPad.

By far the best friend of guitar players

The few quirks are disappearing with each upgrade, and it is a great tool for any musician. The editing tools are the best I have seen for any program at any price (wake up, Apple and Microsoft-those little arrows are magic). Now that they have abandoned their efforts to second guess your copyright authority, it is even better. This is the best, least expensive and most effective way to to access your music. Caveat: they may still have an agreement with Rockin with the Cross to make their charts unavailable if you stop subscribing to RWTC. Check that out before you use the services together.

Good idea, poor execution

This app is a good idea in theory but falls flat in execution. Its slow, it crashed constantly, and it lacks basic functionality like ordering your song list.

Great app for church bands

I use this app for for our church band. Its a great tool and easy to use. Rocking with he cross is a plus only down side is the optional annual membership fee, but aint nothing free in live. I totally recommend

Kind of...

Buggy and unintuitive. One of several examples - When I import song into OnSong, nothing happens. It asks me to confirm import, I select yes, then, nothing. No song to be found in OnSong. Ended up having to use Dropbox, which is additional steps I didnt want to have to take.

Excellent app

Best app ever i recommended.

This app has made my life a lot easier

Thanks to Onsong I dont have to worry about organizing my song notebook in which I did a horrible job doing. This app is the most used app on my iPad. I really happy I got it!

Keeps Getting Better!!!

The developer keeps listening and improving the product which is something I rarely see with other apps. I saw a lot of bad reviews which doesnt make sense to me. The video tutorials on their YouTube channel cover things like set list sorting. Support team is great. If you want a well-supported app that listens to its users, this one is for you!

Good application

This app is a great application. It does seem to freeze up on both iPad and iPhone 6+. Also freezes in the (settings) mode for tapping screen corners to turn pg or go to next verse. Im not sure how to fix without losing my data. I would love to see this app work more smoothly on the Apple platform.

Well done and useful

For any working musician, this app is a lifesaver.

Awesome app!

As a drummer it always drove me nuts when the band leader would change the set list during a performance. OnSong took care of that using their connect feature! Now I know what shes doing on the fly! Ps. Their customer support and tutorials are awesome!

Onsong on iPad air

This app was awesome on my ipad 2 but new versions have lost the song importing features that made it awesome. It transferred over to my 6s iPhone without all the chord charts and wont open up on my ipad air. Ive contacted them and they offered a couple of tips but nothing worked.

Awesome App

I love it, I love it, I love it the best way to describe. This app is exactly what I was looking for a way to stop fooling with paper and making copies and the best part is the connectivity with other devices could not be more pleased with this app

Very Buggy as of late

We have been using this program since it came out. Over the last few months a number of us can no longer connect to each other. Weve attempted to concert support, it often takes weeks to get a response and basically the only response we got is "blame Apple iOS 7". Emailing lists have been difficult as well. It just seems like they are having a tough time getting the most important function to work properly. If your going to use this for persona use, go for it! If you want to use it in a worship team setting, proceed with caution.

Broken with new update

This is a great app. But with the new update the app is highly dis functional. For one, it is having a lot of problems staying logged into the rocking with the cross account, creating massive errors and affecting ease of use. Im getting double charts on my set lists and edits are being erased. Furthermore the app crashes occasionally constantly goes to a start splash page every time I reopen it.

Update

Being using this app and have been very happy with using on song, very helpful for making set lists. Recently I found out that on song was taking over 2g of my memory and I was terribly shocked... I found out by plugging into my itunes that the app was making large size backups on its own. After deleting the backups lot of memory was restored but still I was really shocked how this happens.. I do not know how to stop this because my onsong back up is still turned off.
